The key to this centuries-old recipe is in the combination of the cereal spirit drink, distilled four times to ensure its purity, with the ideal proportion of plants used in each distillation. The botanists, from four different continents, were developed and selected by the plant expert, depending on the season, always choosing the highest quality plants at all times, from where they come from.
Nº1 London Dry
Produced from the highest quality cereals and contains extracts of 13 plants: traditional zimbro, coriander and angelica are added lemon peel, cassis, licorice, cinnamon, almond and orange root. Also contains extracts of gardenia and bergamot - which are immediately recognizable in the aroma. Gin London No. 1 reveals a turquoise color - 'The Gin Original Blue', marked by balsamic and spicy notes. Smooth and elegant on the palate, The London Gin gives way to a long finish with a refreshing acidity. Sipsmith London Dry
First, distillate and copper alembic, later the sloe berry berries (kind of wild plums) are left in a water bath in the gin to create their quite peculiar flavor and color. On the nose shows floral summer notes, followed by the presence of juniper with a spicy touch. Excellent presence of citrus freshness. In the Palate the dry juniper dominates, then reveals lemon tart and orange jelly, with all flavors harmonizing perfectly. The finish is light, with spicy juniper and a hint of sour lemon to stand out. To make the perfect tonic gin just add a bark of lime.
