Grapes carefully selected from 8 parcels: Parcela Major - Touriga Nacional 30%, Parcela Vinha dos Amores - Touriga Nacional 20%, Parcela Rachadouro - Tinta Roriz 10%, Parcela Alminhas - Jaen 10%, Parcela Alto dos Amores - Alfrocheiro 7.5 % , Parcela Matinha - Alicante Bouschet 7.5 %, Parcela Alagoa - Tinto Cão 7.5 % and Parcela Casal Sancho - Alfrocheiro 7.5 %. Intense garnet color with slight brownish tones. Intense and complex aroma, with high quality tertiary notes. It also presents spicy and dried fruit notes. In the mouth it is complex, smooth, well structured and with a notable final persistence. Contains sulfites.
Tangente Reserva Red
Intense ruby color. Aroma with notes of ripe wild berries, jams and spices. Nuances of cocoa and mocha. It evenly shows the well-integrated toast of the barrels and the mineral of the clay amphorae. The richness of the fruit is immediate in the mouth. It is voluminous and intense, with firm tannins and a long, complex and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
Tiago Cabaço Alicante Bouschet Red
The harvest was performed manually for small capacity boxes. After destemming the grapes, they were trampled on foot in modern temperature-controlled stainless steel presses, followed by aging in French oak barrels and prolonged aging in the bottle. Fermentation steps on foot in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Compact ruby color, fine but powerful tannins. Complex aroma where notes of ripe red fruits are mixed. Long and elegant finish. Contains Sulfites.

Manual harvest for 15 kg boxes, grape selection and fermentation for 10 days at 24ºC. Partial aging in French oak barrels for 9 months. Closed ruby color. Elegant combination of ripe red fruits and balsamic notes. Subtle notes of spices and some vanilla hints appear. Full but at the same time elegant, it shows the freshness that the proximity of the sea gives it. It is captivating due to its silky texture while still being vibrant and firm. The sensation of freshness and elegance accompanies a long finish. Contains sulfites.
Pêra Velha Grande Reserva Red
After 24 hours of cold maceration, to enrich in aromas, the fermentation took place for 10 days at 24ºc, with “delestage” to facilitate the extraction of color and tannins that contribute to the body and mouth volume. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels. Deep red color, aroma marked by ripe fruits such as black plum, black pepper, spices and cocoa. Confirms the black fruits and cocoa well matched with the elegance of French oak. Full-bodied wine with the presence of soft tannins that gives it volume in the mouth and good acidity makes it very balanced. Very pleasant, full-bodied, elegant and very persistent finish. Produced from grapes harvested manually and selected with rigor. The fermentation took place in stainless steel mills, of small dimensions with temperature control in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance. After the fermentation it staged in 4 types of oak barrels during 12 months and the same period in the bottle. Of course, garnet color, the nose features an intense profile aroma, suggesting ripe fruit with soft wood notes and spice notes. The palate shows the full-bodied and well-balanced acidity, with robust and good tannins combined with long and elegant final finish. Contains Sulfites.

The passion for wine and the ties to her land - Vidigueira - motivated the creation of the Herdade Grande brand. At age 70, Antonio Lança consolidates 20 years of stories around wine. On March 3, 2016, his wife and three daughters took their birthday to present it with the AML 70. This blend of alicante Bouschet and Touriga Franca, rigorously selected, staged 24 months in French oak barrels. Visually their violet reflections are well highlighted by their deep and concentrated ruby color. In the nose it is full of very mature fruit, with suggestive notes of jelly and compotes of fruits of forest. With good volume in the mouth, good freshness, distinguished by its round and balanced set, with well integrated soft tannins, providing a long finish, where the fruity character reappears in the retro nasal aroma. Night mechanical vintage. Total destemming followed by cold passage through a mass exchanger. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. After fermentation 50% of the blend is aged in French oak barrels for 9 months. Intense color and captivating nose, with notes of spices, earth and tobacco, in a rich base of black cherry, cassis and blueberry jam. Rich, round, juicy, in the mouth it offers black cherry, red fruits and subtle notes of caramel and sweet oak. The enormous classic structure of the tannin and firm acidity persist until a spicy finish. Contains sulfites.

Catarina Red
50% of wine passes through Madeira de Carvalho francês, for a period of more than 6 months. Very deep, very rich and concentrated aromas. Notes of vermilion fruits combined with toasted nuances and baked berries are integrated on a firm and elegant structure. Complex and long, with aging potential. Count me sulfites.

After harvest, the grapes are collected in the cellar and sent to the cold rooms, where the temperature is controlled up to 10oC for 12 hours. The bunches are then stalked and the grapes broken. Partially fermented in frustoconical stainless steel tanks and French oak vats. After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the stage partially runs for 7 months in French oak barrels of the Seguin Moreau brand (medium - fine grain), until bottling. The bottle stage occurs for at least 12 months. Contains Sulfites.
Blog Bivarietal Red
In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our older strains and our best plots have taken advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two grape varieties that benefited most with the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect maturity. With raw material so good we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. That's why we did little more than one walk on our wineries, according to the most traditional methods of the region, followed by a stage in new barrels and barrels of second year of French oak, letting the wine express itself in the purest form .
Very fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Silky and velvety in texture, it is an intense and structured red, vigorous but not aggressive, complex and elegant, fresh finish and great guarding potential.
