Made from the Trincadeira, Aragonês, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties, the Monte da Ravasqueira Clássico Red wine has a classic character due to the grape varieties that make it up and that the consumer recognizes, but with a modern profile when tasted. Wine for all consumers, not aged in wood, concentrated, full of volume, exuberant, elegant and expressive. Dark red color with violet tones. Frank and exuberant nose, with varietal expression, of Syrah. Notes of red fruit, spices and chocolate. Voluminous attack with menthol notes. In the tasting it is elegant, with persistent and elegant tannins. Long and harmonious finish. A red full of personality, it indelibly accompanies every moment.
Montes Claros Reserva Red
The grapes, from previously selected vines and in general from vines over 30 years old, follow a strict control of maturation to determine the optimum height of manual harvesting. At the cellar, the grapes arrived in optimum conditions and the partial destemming and crushing of the grapes began, followed by fermentation and a prolonged maceration of 10 to 12 days, to extract the best aromas and all the complexity of the fruit. This was followed by malolactic fermentation, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in wooden barrels. For greater complexity, structure and richness, the final blend selected aged 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year barrels of French and American oak, and 6 months in the bottle for final refinement. Clear appearance, deep garnet color. Rich and full aroma, showing aromas of jam, jam and cocoa. Soft, full-bodied and complex flavor, highlighted by notes of very ripe black fruits and robust, persistent tannins, which guarantee longevity. Contains sulfites.
Monte da Ravasqueira Encantado Red
Vinification of Syrah and Touriga Franca in open presses with automatic treading and high extraction work. Alicante Bouschet vinification in stainless steel vats at lower temperatures (26ºC). The aim is to extract the structure of Syrah, the sharp tannins of Touriga Franca and the freshness, exuberance of fruit and elegance of Alicante Bouschet. The batch spent 8 months in new French oak barrels. Encantado shows all the vitality of Touriga Franca that serves as a great base for this wine. The angular and present tannins, the ripe fruit in balance with the aromas of the forest it presents, make it a table companion. The barrel present, but without helping the one-dimensionality of the set, makes this wine a wine with layers that rise throughout the tasting. Contains sulfites.
Monte Velho Biológico Red
Destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperatures (22 to 25ºC), pressing followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Clean appearance, intense ruby color. Aromas of wild berries, cherries, blackberries. In the mouth it is intense and consistent, with notes of ripe but fresh black fruit, elegant and persistent tannins, which are expressed in a long and expressive finish. Contains sulfites.
