Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White is an exceptional example, the result of a careful selection of grapes from two different parcels. The first, a 2.5-hectare plot, is part of a 12-hectare vineyard planted in 2003, while the second, 5 hectares, is part of a set of 8 hectares planted between 2016 and 2017. Both are located on generous slopes, at altitudes of 400 and 500 meters, respectively, facing South and Southeast, with significant slopes and granite soil, guaranteeing the excellence of the raw material.
The vinification of this White Reserve is carried out with meticulous care, where around 40% of the alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, accompanied by "bâtonnage" over 10 months. This process gives the wine a unique complexity and richness, evident in its multifaceted aroma, which combines fruity nuances with a very subtle touch of wood and distinct notes of wet stone, adding depth to its taste profile. After bottling, the wine is carefully aged in the bottle for 4 months, ensuring the evolution and perfection of its character.
Upon tasting, Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White reveals a full body, fresh and at the same time unctuous, a true delight for the palate. Manual winemaking, carefully selected and 100% destemmed in the cellar. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. After malolactic fermentation, it aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
