The grapes are selected and harvested by hand. The must undergoes maceration for 12 to 14 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for a period of 6 to 10 months and further refined in the bottle. Bright ruby red color, intense and persistent bouquet with notes of wild fruits that combine well with the aromas released by the wood of the barrels. Tasty and full-bodied, it highlights the exceptional persistence of the bouquet. Contains sulfites.

The grapes are de-grained and carefully selected manually at the table of choice. After crushing, they are trodden in marble mills for 4 to 5 days, and then transferred to stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation is finished. It aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels. Intense garnet color, nose large concentration of black fruits, eucalyptus leaf and some notes of spices from the stage in barrel. Total destemming, gentle crushing and thermal shock, followed by a period of cold pre-fermentative maceration in the mill for about 12 to 24 hours. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally, part of the wine carried out this fermentation in wood. On the nose, very fresh and intense where the notes of wild fruits and black cherries predominate in balance with seductive “nuances of Liquorice”, the aroma being complexed by the notes of wood. In the mouth it is concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and smooth texture, a very intense and persistent finish showing the strength of Douro Superior wines. Contains sulfites.
Pacheca Grande Reserva Touriga Nacional Red

This wine is obtained exclusively from the Touriga Nacional variety from a 32-year-old plot installed at an altitude of 140 meters. After careful selection for their best condition, the grapes were harvested in boxes of 25 kg and sent to the winery where they were totally destemmed. Fermentation took place during 9 days in traditional 7-ton granite stone tanks with stepping and soft reassembly for leaching by blanket and extraction of phenolic and aromatic compounds. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation took place and aged for about 18 months. Pacheca Touriga Nacional is an elegant wine with good aromatic intensity, notes of bergamot and violet with well integrated wood. In the mouth it reveals good structure, round tannins, freshness and a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
