Quinta do Pessegueiro Barro Vermelho Red

Quinta da Fata is located in the demarcated Dão Wine region. The slight slope to the south gives it a sunny exposure that benefits the wine and makes it particularly pleasant. In addition to the vineyard, the farm has gardens, large lawns and wooded areas. Among the many trees, an imposing century-old lime tree stands out. Both the lime tree and the tower with the old water tank are clearly visible and allow you to easily identify the farm from afar.

After a selection in the vineyard, a second selection was made at the selection table. All the wine was fermented in a press with 50% of the stems, with a foot treading system. The wine aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation took place. Charme Bairrada is a light wine in color, where it shows a vibrant and very complex nose, with notes of green tea leaves, from the stalk, earthy clay/limestone notes. In the mouth, fresh and still very young, it has a good acidity and elegant tannins for Baga, with a long, fresh finish that shows the terroir. Contains sulfites.

It has a delicately pale greenish reflections, the nose reveals delicate citrus fruits and floral aromas and a slight plant touch. In the mouth is a simple and adequate wine, very marked by lime and ripe fruit that gives an air of grace, reveals a medium volume and structure, as well as an average length and persistence in terms of finish. Contains Sulfites.

Baga of vines about 100 years old, Intense red color, delicate aroma with notes of violet and red fruits and notes of tobacco and spices, persistent taste with fine tannins, sharp acidity, perfect balance. A great wine. Contains Sulfites.
