Vinification in tanning at 28ºC with stalks. Aging 24 months in used wooden barrels. Red color with brownish tones, leather aromas, black fruits, black tea, violets and hazelnut. Austere taste, good acidity, presence of tannins, persistence present following the same concept as the old Periquita. Contains sulfites.

Produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Sousão, harvested in Cabêda (Alijo) Cima Corgo and in Pocinho V.N. Foz Côa, Douro Superior. Grapes harvested manually in small boxes and transported to the winery in a short time. Pelicular maceration followed by fermentation with the films for a few hours. Fermentation ends in used 400 liter French oak barrels. In the same barrels it undergoes bâtonnage for 9 months on total lees. Ages 12 months in bottle. Strong intensity of the varietal aromas of the variety where pineapple and grapefruit stand out. On the palate, full bodied showing elegantly ripe tannins. Strong concentration of fruit, namely grapefruit, lemon and pear with resinous nuances. Ends long and dry with noble bitters typical of the variety. Contains Sulfites.
Crasto Superior Red

The grapes, from our Quinta da Cabreira, in the Douro Superior, were transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. It aged in French oak barrels, where it remained for about 12 months. With a deep violet color, fresh aromas of wild Douro fruits stand out on the nose, very well integrated with soft notes of spice. Starts the mouth tasting in a harmonious way, evolving into a wine of great volume and compact structure, composed of tannins with dense texture. It ends with great elegance, freshness and persistence. Contains Sulfites.

Destemming, thermal shock, skin maceration, pressing, static decanting of the must, fermentation at controlled temperatures: 70% in stainless steel vats and 30% in new American and French oak barrels. Aging for 6 months in stainless steel vats and in new oak barrels, on fine lees. Crystalline appearance, straw color with greenish reflections. Grapefruit and apricot notes, notes of mint green complemented with white pepper and nutmeg. Elegant and harmonious on the palate, balanced between fruit and spices. An intense and persistent finish. Herdade Grande Gerações Red

Produced from grapes harvested manually and selected with rigor. The fermentation took place in stainless steel mills, of small dimensions with temperature control in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance. After the fermentation it staged in 4 types of oak barrels during 12 months and the same period in the bottle. Of course, garnet color, the nose features an intense profile aroma, suggesting ripe fruit with soft wood notes and spice notes. The palate shows the full-bodied and well-balanced acidity, with robust and good tannins combined with long and elegant final finish. Contains Sulfites.
