Júlio B. Bastos Alicante Bouschet Tinto

This wine is a tribute to my father, Júlio Bandeira Bastos. It is a wine that results from the selection of the best grapes from old vines of Alicante Bouschet, which were trodden in marble lagares and vinified with controlled temperatures. The aging is done in new French oak barrels for 14 months. The wine has an opaque, violet-ruby color, with pure aromas of India ink, liquorice, notes of wild berries and balsamic nuances. On the palate it reveals itself to be very ample, dense and silky, with mature and rounded tannins.
