Produced in Portalegre, northeast of Alentejo, in the granite foothills of Serra de São Mamede, where the colder temperatures, together with many old vines, give complexity and freshness. 15% of the batch fermented and aged for 4 months in new 500L French oak barrels. Manual harvest. In the cellar, the grapes were selected on a vibrating selection table, with total destemming and light crushing of the berry. Fermentation took place in 500L French oak barrels. Golden color, nose of evident minerality, which denounces the terroir that gave rise to it. Discreet barrel that surrounds the ensemble. Good volume in the mouth and remarkable freshness. Contains sulfites.
Adega Mayor Arinto White
After manual harvesting, the grapes were quickly sent to the cellar, where they were destemmed and gently pressed. The must, clarified by the cold, fermented slowly for approximately 2 weeks in stainless steel vats, with controlled temperature. With a lemon yellow color and a bright appearance, this is an aromatically discreet wine, of medium intensity, which privileges the notes of green apple, lime and a vegetal character balanced by a pungent minerality. In the mouth it is “full” and vibrant. The finish is persistent and pleasantly confirms the mineral character of the nose. Contains sulfites.
Adega Mayor Antão Vaz White
Coming from selected vineyard plots, the grapes were harvested manually into 15 kg boxes. Upon arrival at the cellar, the bunches were manually selected, immediately destemmed and crushed into stainless steel vats. After 48 hours of cold maceration and skin extraction, the grapes were gently pressed and the natural static decanting process was carried out, which leads to alcoholic fermentation. After the normal period of fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of around 15ºC, the wine underwent a period of aging in deposit, stabilized and finally bottled. With a limpid aspect and pale straw-coloured tones, it is a wine with intense and inviting aromas. The freshness of the nose suggests exotic fruit, where notes of ripe pineapple and passion flower stand out. In the mouth it enters light and discreet, evolving into a complex mixture of fresh fruits. A set full of harmony where tension, structure and mouth volume are in harmony. The well-integrated acidity confirms the pleasant sensation of balance and leads us to a long and persistent finish. A fresh and lively Antão Vaz. Contains sulfites.
Poliphonia Reserva White
The grapes from the Monte dos perdigões vineyard were carefully selected, having been vinified separately in French oak barrels. There followed a stage on fine sludge with periodic “batonnage”. Citrine color with slight greenish reflections. Elegant aroma, of good intensity, with notes of tropical fruit associated with dried fruits and spices. Fresh palate, with good acidity and full. Persistent and unctuous finish. Contains sulfites.
