Herdade do Esporão Petit Verdot is a wine born in the Vine of the Andorinhos, in the Herdade do Esporão. It is a late-maturing and low-yielding caste. It is surprising to originate wines with a strong aromatic personality and great potential for aging. Laiva ruby color. The mouth shows remarkable elegance, with vibrant acidity that gives it great freshness. It ends in a long and persistent way. Contains Sulfites.

The grapes are destemmed and carefully selected manually on the table of choice. After crushing, they are trodden in marble presses with the traditional treading on foot. Fermentation ends in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. Aging 12 months in new French oak half barrels. Deep violet and dense color. Intense and deep aroma, dominated by spices and very ripe black fruits, where notes of dark chocolate are also present. In the mouth, voluminous, with a well-involved acidity, which together with its retronasal aroma, gives it great elegance and persistence. Contains sulfites.

Quinta de Santiago, built in 1899 in Monção, is still owned by its descendants. The Quinta has 9 hectares of which 6 planted with vines aged between 3 to 9 years, exclusively in clay soils. Clean, pale greenish yellow with medium intensity nose, lime, peach, roses, resin and wet stone. In the mouth it is dry, drying tannin, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity, lime, peach, earthy, wet stone and long finish. This wine was obtained in a peculiar way, 50% was naturally fermented and aged in Amphora in contact with the films. The remaining 50% naturally fermented in stainless steel and trained in amphorae in the Rocim Estate. Contains Sulfites.
