Grown in pebble soils, the grapes are meticulously harvested by hand from the chosen plots. After harvesting, they are cooled to 5ºC, de-stemmed and gently crushed. A careful pre-fermentation maceration precedes alcoholic fermentation under controlled temperature, culminating in a prolonged post-fermentation maceration. Each variety is vinified and matured separately, ensuring the purity and complexity of this blend.
With a deep ruby color, Conde Vimioso The Winemaker's Blend Red exudes an intense aroma, intertwining black and red fruits with notes of wildflowers and a spicy touch. On the palate, it is concentrated, with complex and velvety tannins, balanced by a finely integrated acidity. The grapes were harvested manually into small boxes of 20 kg, with selection in the vineyard. The composition of the blend varies with the production of each variety in the vineyard. After total destemming, the grapes go to a traditional granite mill, where they macerate for about 48 hours, with temperature control. Fermentation is slow, under controlled temperature, and pumping over is done by foot treading. This wine ages for 1 year in used 225 and 500L French oak barrels. It presents a deep ruby color, with lilac hints. Complex aroma, with notes of wild berries and spices, showing a very present Touriga Nacional and well integrated barrel notes. In the mouth it is full and ripe, with firm but satin tannins. Contains Sulfites.

As hand-vindicated grapes for small boxes of 25 Kg, according to a judicious selection of melhores na vinha grapes. As completely ungagged grapes for small stainless steel tanks. The fermentation lasted about 15 days with controlled temperature and soft remontagens for a boa extraction of heart and aromas. After a malolactic fermentation, it is aged for 12 months in French (80%) and American (20%) barrels of carvalho and batchwise, to balance varietal fruit and complex carvalho. It appears as an intense ruby color. Very fine and delicate without aroma, prevailing with notes of bergamot and vermelho fruits. On the palate it is well-integrated with notes from the oak barrels that are perfectly integrated, always enhancing the chaste floral notes to show the virtues of this specific terroir that gives it great complexity and longevity. Count me sulfites.
