With over 30 years of experience, Alexandre traverses the globe, seeking the finest barrels from the most prestigious distilleries in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Oceania, dedicated to the history, heritage, and specific production methods of each rum-producing country.
Originating from the West Indies Distillery in Barbados, this exceptional rum is made from molasses, with a fermentation process lasting 2-3 days and distilled using a blend of column and Gregg pot stills. On the nose, it offers a fruity and spicy profile with notes of coconut, orange blossom, peach, and banana, enhanced by vanilla, roasted almond, cinnamon, and pepper. The palate is rich and spicy, mirroring the nose with a pastry profile of honey, hazelnut, and gingerbread, alongside notes of tobacco, chocolate, and caraway. The finish is long and fruity, with lemon, pear, liquorice, pepper, and toffee.
