Discover Planteray Cut & Dry Coconut, an innovation from Alexandre Gabriel that resulted from years of experimentation to perfect the union of two Caribbean culture icons: cane spirit and coconut. The coconuts are harvested on the island of Barbados, cut and air-dried. They are then infused into white rums distilled in column and pot stills. The overall finish is very long on coconut, pepper, and vanilla.

With over 30 years of experience, Alexandre explores the various rum terroirs around the world, seeking the finest barrels from the most prestigious distilleries in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Oceania. This rum is the result of these explorations, offering an exceptional and unique flavor profile.
Made from molasses, with a one-week fermentation and distilled using a blend of Port Mourant pot still and column still, the rum was distilled in 2007. It aged for 13 years in 200L bourbon barrels in the tropics, followed by 2 years in 350L Ferrand casks in Europe, gaining deep and rich complexity.
On the nose, it is intense and rich, with pastry notes of cocoa and almond, vanilla, and lime peel. The palate is rich and oily, following the nose with hints of flowers and orange, tobacco, raisins, berries, almond, and hazelnut, complemented by deep notes of balsamic and molasses, almost smoky, with leather and medicinal ginseng. The finish is very long, spicy, and fresh, with pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, licorice, and chocolate.
