Soalheiro Aguardente Velha
44,83 €
The Aguardente Bagaceira Velha Alvarinho Quinta de Soalheiro, appeared in 1999, with the launch of the first series of 1428 numbered bottles. Since the first harvest, the production of this brandy is subject to the distillation of the best Alvarinho bagasse, aged over the years in oak casks, from which it extracts the color and structure that complete the intense aroma of the caste. The aromatic films of the Alvarinho grapes, separated from the must by pressing in the vintage, ferment for about 1 month in an environment without air (anaerobiosis). This fermentation transforms the existing residual sugar into alcohol, extracting the best aromas from the films. The slow distillation in traditional alembic contributes to concentrate these aromas, giving rise to a very aromatic brandy characteristic of the Alvarinho variety. The alternation of aging in new and used oak casks transmits over the years a very particular aroma and flavor that gives this brandy a unique personality. It has a topaz color, with a complex, delicate and fragrant aroma, revealing a perfect harmony between the character of the grape variety and the prolonged aging of the hull. The taste is smooth and very persistent. Contains sulfites.
