Quinta do Cachão Vintage 1979 Ruby

Fermented wine with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), later aging in oak wood, in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until it is bottled, between the 2nd and 3rd year, after approval. Wine with a golden color, with a good evolution of the reduction aromas, with touches of forest fruits and chocolate nuances. The aromas of dried fruits are present, with emphasis on walnuts. In the mouth, all predicates revealed in the aroma are confirmed.

Outstanding for its exceptional features, the Sandeman Porto Vintage 2016 is a wine that will age in the bottle for 30 or 40 years. This excellent Vintage Porto 2016 is an example of Sandeman's commitment to the quality of Port wine. This wine has an opaque, almost black color. The aroma is intense and complex, with prominent notes of ripe black fruit, resin as well as notes of cocoa and chocolate as a result of its excellent maturation. Great volume on the palate with a vibrant, fresh acidity, firm, high-quality tannins, floral notes of stew and notes of black fruit and chocolate. A great invitation for the very long and elegant finale. Using the traditional technology of Port Wine, this wine was vinified in the Quinta do Seixo winery, grapes originating both there and in Quinta do Vau. In addition to the selection process, the grapes were subjected to crushing and stalking before undergoing a very intense maceration during alcoholic fermentation, by treading on granite wineries at controlled temperatures automatically. The balance and harmony of this wine, as well as its body and structure, result from the selection of the best grapes, the intensity of the maceration and the choice of the right moment to stop the fermentation. Dow’s Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira Vintage 2019 Ruby

This typically floral wine, presents aromas of violets so characteristic of this terroir, with some secondary aromas of rockrose, well creased and elegant, reflecting the freshest profile of the year. Bottled in May 2021, without filtration.

Stainless steel maceration and vats with temperature control at 28-30ºC. Bottled 2 years after harvest, after aging for one year in old barrels. The wine is dark purple with a fresh and attractive aroma of violets, plums and raspberries. It is a velvety wine, well balanced, but with serious and powerful tannins and fine acidity. A serious, fresh and balanced port, which could only be from the Pinhão valley.
