Poças Vintage 2016 Ruby
Ruby dense and impenetrable. Very fresh and springy nose with elegant notes of blackberry, black plum, chocolate, coffee steam, tobacco leaf and spices. The mouth is silky, enveloping, greedy, with round but firm tannins, in a profile of elegance in which stands out the strength of the fruit and the spicy notes. A contemporary vintage, domesticated and ready to drink, but that will not stop growing in bottles in the coming decades. Contains sulfites.
Poças Centenário 1918 Tawny
Poças 1918 is a Very Old Port Wine, specially bottled to commemorate the 100 years and to honor the region. It presents the fascinating complexity, texture and personality of the very old Port Wines. Created from the careful selection of a lot of Port Wines stored for years in Quinta das Quartas, which is now 100 years old. A smooth wine with a slightly creamy texture due to age, fresh and balanced. It has an intense color with slight greenish tones; Very complex and refined aroma in the nose. Intense aroma of molasses, spices and dried fruit. Balanced taste, perfect between acidity and sweetness. Creamy and concentrated palate with a long and persistent finish.
Poças Colheita 2007 Tawny
Fermentation with controlled temperature, interrupted by addition of wine spirit. Aging in oak casks for a period of not less than 7 years. It evolves by oxidation in the same way as Port Wines with age, presenting the unique characteristics of the year of harvest. Poças Colheita 2007 is a high quality Port, coming from a single harvest, aged in hull for at least seven years. In this process, young aromas, fresh and fruity, evolve into a complex and elegant bouquet, well combined with a velvety texture and a persistent finish.
Poças Vintage 2018 Ruby
Port wine from a single harvest, produced only in years of exceptional quality. Aged in oak containers, it is bottled between the second and third year after the harvest. This Special Collection Collection, with a unique design, bears the special mark of family, friends and long-standing customers who participated in the commemorative press of the company's 100th anniversary. Controlled fermentation with prolonged maceration, interrupted by the addition of wine spirit. Strictly controlled aging in oak casks. Deep ruby color, strong aroma with aromatic intensity of currants and raspberries. Elegant palate, good fruit intensity. Fresh and firm tannins. Floral finish. Contains sulfites.
Poças Quinado Tawny
Produced with the best grapes coming from the two properties of the company, in the Douro Superior and Ervedosa do Douro, this is an intense wine with cherries, chocolate and a touch of tobacco. Rich, complex and balanced, with ripe tannins and a long finish. Accompany well all types of meats and game, as well as a wide variety of cheeses. Contains sulfites.
