Ruby dense and impenetrable. Very fresh and springy nose with elegant notes of blackberry, black plum, chocolate, coffee steam, tobacco leaf and spices. The mouth is silky, enveloping, greedy, with round but firm tannins, in a profile of elegance in which stands out the strength of the fruit and the spicy notes. Flavor velvety, rich, complex, with notes of spices and nuts. Contains sulfites.
Poças Colheita 2007 Tawny
Fermentation with controlled temperature, interrupted by addition of wine spirit. Aging in oak casks for a period of not less than 7 years. It evolves by oxidation in the same way as Port Wines with age, presenting the unique characteristics of the year of harvest. Poças Colheita 2007 is a high quality Port, coming from a single harvest, aged in hull for at least seven years. In this process, young aromas, fresh and fruity, evolve into a complex and elegant bouquet, well combined with a velvety texture and a persistent finish.
