The grapes, from previously selected vines and in general from vines over 30 years old, follow a strict control of maturation to determine the optimum height of manual harvesting. At the cellar, the grapes arrived in optimum conditions and the partial destemming and crushing of the grapes began, followed by fermentation and a prolonged maceration of 10 to 12 days, to extract the best aromas and all the complexity of the fruit. This was followed by malolactic fermentation, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in wooden barrels. For greater complexity, structure and richness, the final blend selected aged 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year barrels of French and American oak, and 6 months in the bottle for final refinement. Clear appearance, deep garnet color. Rich and full aroma, showing aromas of jam, jam and cocoa. Soft, full-bodied and complex flavor, highlighted by notes of very ripe black fruits and robust, persistent tannins, which guarantee longevity. Contains sulfites.

Marquês de Borba Vinhas Velhas Red

The grapes are de-grained and carefully selected manually at the table of choice. After crushing, they are trodden in marble mills for 4 to 5 days, and then transferred to stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation is finished. It aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels. Intense garnet color, nose large concentration of black fruits, eucalyptus leaf and some notes of spices from the stage in barrel. Large volume in the mouth with velvety tannins. Contains Sulfites.

Harvested by hand, selection on a selection table, direct press, cold decanted 12h, first presses vinified in stainless steel in a horizontal vat, 2nd presses fermented in French oak barrels for 3 years of use, without batonnage for 9 months. Yellow citrus-straw color, iodine aroma, salt, linden. In the mouth, dense concentrated attack, acidity cuts in half and remains until the end of the tasting, salt and iodine, it is a sea slap. Desengace and fermented grapes in a wine press with manual treading. Malolactic fermentation and a prolonged period of 20 months in new barrels (50%) and French oak barrels. Naturally stabilized wine during barrel aging. 3650 bottles were produced. Delicate aromas of ripe red fruit and light floral notes. Mediterranean bush, cedar, wood, mocha, spice and moss add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it shows to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the calcareous soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine, with a long finish, the result of the prolonged aging in barrels to which it was submitted. Contains sulfites.

Herdade do Peso Grande Reserva Trinca Bolotas Red

Aging for 12 months in French oak barrels. The grapes were harvested at their optimum phenolic / aromatic ripening point. After destemming and gentle crushing, a 4-day pre-fermentative maceration was performed to increase its complexity. Fermented at 26ºC with gentle pumping over, preserving the fruit and extracting smooth tannins important for the balance of the final wine. Wine with an intense, complex and attractive aroma. A blend of aromas from the most fruity side to the most shrubby side. In the mouth it presents volume, very well integrated tannins and good acidity, which make it an extremely "greedy" wine. Stage in French oak barrels where it remains for 8 months. Intense wine with 17 degrees, strong, balanced, with notes of red fruits. Tannins noble and present. A wine with a lot of presence, rich and that has a wraparound and long finish. Contains Sulfites.
