Quinta das Carvalhas is a property of great beauty and spectacularity, with a predominant position on the slope of the left bank of the Douro River in Pinhão, which extends along the slopes of the right bank of the affluent Torto River. The oldest written references to the Quinta date back to 1759. The grapes of the estate are located at low altitude with sun exposure from north to south, providing Ports and Douro wines intense, concentrated and full of character and elegance. Deep purple in color, with a concentrated aroma of black plum fruit vegetable notes such as rose hips, blackberry, red berries on a wild background. In the mouth it is velvety sweet, sweet fruit, firm, ripe and very round tannins, full of elegance and a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
