Peach, apricot, red berry aromas, followed by crystalized citrus, orange blossom and hints of brioche. Palate is rich with exotic fruit, cherry and a touch of lemon, vanilla and honey. This very small production 100% Chardonnay cuvée is crafted from fruit sourced from traditional Chardonnay territory, the Côte des Blancs, and almost half of the blend is from the lauded Montagne de Reims. This unique assemblage delivers both minerality, suppleness, roundness and lightness from the Montagne de Reims terroir, providing even greater potential for aging. Lightly buttered, baked pastry notes are followed by aromas of pear, hazelnut and a hint of gingerbread. On the palate, flavors of guava, gooseberry and peach are complemented by sweet spices and a fresh mineral finish.

It was prepared using the classic open spout method, followed by cold decantation. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14ºC for 4 weeks. Natural stage in contact with fine lees for 7 months in stainless steel vat until bottling. Bright citrus color. Very exuberant fruity aroma, with notes of pulpy fruit (peach and apricot), as well as a light herbaceous aroma of dry straw, almost reminiscent of tea. On the palate it shows well its well-marked acidity, without being exaggerated and a pleasant volume. Very tropical (passion fruit and pineapple) and citrus, with notes also of dry straw and very mineral. Very persistent aftertaste. Contains sulfites.

Chão da Quinta Malvasia Fina White

Clear / bright appearance, with a greenish citrus color with medium intensity. On the nose it presents notes of white flower (marigold), light citrus (very ripe lemon) and some wax, but discreet. Very evident notes of minerality on the nose. In the mouth it is dry and round with an interesting myth greasiness. Medium / high acidity, very elegant with evident notes of wax and some smoked. Enough mineral, makes it have in the mouth a “crunchy” character. Very long aftertaste with notes of ripe lemon peel and some butter / yogurt. Contains sulfites.
