The grapes, from our Quinta da Cabreira, in the Douro Superior, were transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. It aged in French oak barrels, where it remained for about 12 months. With a deep violet color, fresh aromas of wild Douro fruits stand out on the nose, very well integrated with soft notes of spice. Starts the mouth tasting in a harmonious way, evolving into a wine of great volume and compact structure, composed of tannins with dense texture. It ends with great elegance, freshness and persistence. Contains Sulfites.
