The grapes are selected and harvested by hand. The must undergoes maceration for 12 to 14 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for a period of 6 to 10 months and further refined in the bottle. Bright ruby red color, intense and persistent bouquet with notes of wild fruits that combine well with the aromas released by the wood of the barrels. Tasty and full-bodied, it highlights the exceptional persistence of the bouquet. Contains sulfites.

Explore the Quinta da Rede Sousão Red, a robust and full-bodied wine from the Douro region, Lower Corgo sub-region. Originating from vineyards on the slopes of the Serra do Marão at an altitude of 400 meters, this wine is purely made from Sousão grapes, known for their intensity and depth.
The vinification process includes total destemming and prolonged yet gentle skin maceration, followed by fermentation in mechanical lagares at 26ºC for 10 days. After fermentation, the wine matures for 16 months in new 500-liter French oak barrels, gaining unique complexity.
This red wine boasts an intense red color and deep aromas of wild berries, field herbs, and spices, with a light smoky touch from the barrel. On the palate, it offers juicy red fruit and solid tannins, complemented by excellent acidity that brings freshness and persistence. The grape must was fermented with the skin to extract more color and tannin. Temperatures were controlled so that the fruity aroma was preserved. A small percentage of oak was used to complement and give structure. Light ruby color. Aroma of red fruits, wild berries involved with notes of volcanic sulfur and slight vanilla. In the mouth it is very elegant and smooth with a medium body. It ends with a pleasant and persistent salty taste. Contains sulfites.

Ribeiro Santo Vinha da Neve Red presents a complex aroma, with notes of dark fruits and aromas of forest flowers, mineral and spicy. In the mouth it is textured, with noble tannins in gifts, powerful and with a well integrated acidity and a long end. The harvest took place in the third week of September. The grapes were harvested manually, for small boxes of 18 kg, according to a careful selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, followed by a second choice at the entrance of the winery. The grapes were completely destemmed for a small granite mill, where they macerated two days at low temperature, before beginning the alcoholic fermentation, with indigenous yeasts, under controlled temperature. The alcoholic fermentation lasted about 3 weeks, with slight homogenization by walking. Once the fermentation was finished, it was decanted into new French oak barrels where it remained for 12 months. After the bottling and before leaving to the market, it staged a minimum of 6 months in fresh basement.
