Quinta dos Murças VV47 has a very complex, intense and lively aroma, where the most mature red fruits, the characteristic balsamic aromas of the older vines and the notes of spices from the barrel stage stand out. Of great harmony and elegance, dominated by very fine ripe tannins and balanced acidity. It has a very long and persistent finish that, on the whole, allows for a great longevity. Manual harvesting, sorting table, destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25º to 28ºC), in granite mills with foot step and pressing in an old vertical press. In French oak barrels used for about 12 months. Contains Sulfites.

João Portugal Ramos Vinha do Lado Red is an authentic expression of winemaking excellence, the result of a careful and traditional winemaking process. The grapes, meticulously de-stemmed and manually selected, are subjected to the noble practice of foot treading in marble presses. This ancestral stage is followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, complemented by a 12-day post-fermentation maceration that extracts the depth of flavors.
Its maturation is carried out in half barrels of French and Hungarian oak, for first and second use, for a period of 12 months, ensuring the perfect fusion between fruit and wood, and giving the wine a rich and complex structure.
This wine shines with its intense color and seduces with opulent aromas of jam, ripe fruit, truffles and vanilla, which herald the richness of flavors to be discovered. The Encruzado variety, also known as Salgueirinho, is an endemic variety from Dão. Coming from a land of higher altitude and sheltered like the Taboadella vineyard, in granites metamorphosed for hundreds of thousands of years, this lot shares the care with the cross-grape variety. The delicate farming of cross-grape vines requires increased attention during the growing season. The reward is enormous, the wine is firm and exuberant, the texture is silky, the structure is linear and the depth marked. Aged 50% in new French oak barrels for 8 months and 50% stainless steel vats. It is a wine of the present and the future. Contains sulfites.
