The passion for wine and the ties to her land – Vidigueira – motivated the creation of the Herdade Grande brand. At age 70, Antonio Lança consolidates 20 years of stories around wine. On March 3, 2016, his wife and three daughters took their birthday to present it with the AML 70. This blend of alicante Bouschet and Touriga Franca, rigorously selected, staged 24 months in French oak barrels. Visually their violet reflections are well highlighted by their deep and concentrated ruby color. In the nose it is full of very mature fruit, with suggestive notes of jelly and compotes of fruits of forest. With good volume in the mouth, good freshness, distinguished by its round and balanced set, with well integrated soft tannins, providing a long finish, where the fruity character reappears in the retro nasal aroma. Contains Sulfites.

Textura da Estrela Jaen Red
Textura da Estrela Jaen comes from a single plot in Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub-region). Vineyards aged 28 years in granitic soils, sustainably treated, without herbicides, have been converting to organic certification since 2020. This Jaen fermented with indigenous yeasts only in cement vats with 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison. After aging the 1st winter in cement, it spent 6 months in French oak barrels. Naturally stabilized. Open color red with mineral and stone powder character, typical of cement tanks. Slight pepper and delicate fruit. It shows elegant tannins and is marked in the mouth by the granitic minerality, which often contributes to its peppery side. Long and precise acidity. With the potential to turn out to be different in a few years. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Rose
Manual harvest during the month of September for 25 kg boxes. After sorting the bunches in the vineyard, the berries were also chosen by optical sorting at the entrance to the cellar, so that only the perfect berries were used. These were then refrigerated, destemmed and pressed in an inert environment. Subsequent cold decanting and fermentation took place at a temperature of 16ºC. Stage in stainless steel vats. Soft in color, pale pink with red nuances. It shows an intense and fresh aroma of red fruits, especially raspberries, with light vegetable notes. Acidity elegantly balanced with the volume in the mouth, making it a very appetizing rosé. Contains sulfites.
Monte da Ravasqueira Nero D’Avola Red
Nero d'Avola is one of the most important castes in Italy. Originally from southern Sicily, it arrived at Monte da Ravasqueira by the hand of its founder José Manuel de Mello in the incessant search of the indifferent exploration of the terroir and the production of atypical and challenging wines. In the harvest of 2012 this wish was interpreted, giving rise to a unique and rare wine in Portugal that maintains the original characteristics but which expresses well the unique freshness and mineral character of our grapes.
100% Nero d'Avola, Ravasqueira Nero d'Avola 2012 wine proved to be precocious and fast maturing. Acidity, aromatic intensity and density of tannins are the adjectives that best characterize this year's grapes. Manually harvested and subject to a lowering of the temperature before vinification.
Incarnate color alive and intense. Nose complex, closed in need of decanting. Slight notes of eucalyptus, varied peppers, floral and with intense notes of cherry. The test is full and elegant. High density of fine tannins in balance with mineral acidity, fleshy and light vegetable. Contains Sulfites.
