St. Germain is a French liquor made from flowers of elderberry, a shrub that grows in the wetlands near the Alps and which blooms for 4-6 weeks a year. It is made in a totally traditional and handmade way. The flowers macerated with grape brandy from the region of Burgundy (mostly white).
