Plantation Peru Vintage 2006
Discover Plantation Peru Vintage 2006, an exceptional Peruvian rum, a collaboration between Alexandre Gabriel, Master Blender at Plantation Rum, and Jorge Luis Rodriguez Parajes from the Cartavio distillery. This rum uniquely combines distillates from multi-column and John Dore stills, resulting from three-day fermentations.
Distilled in 2006, this rum aged for eleven years in 200-liter bourbon casks in the Peruvian distillery's cellars, where technical control of ventilation and humidity regulates evaporation. It then crossed the oceans to France, aging for an additional three years in 400-liter French oak barrels in Javrezac, adding the distinctive Plantation touch.
It offers a nose filled with intense dark chocolate, nuts, and vanilla, complemented by citrus and passion fruit notes. The palate unfolds with smooth chocolate and exotic fruit flavors, culminating in a long finish with hints of dried fruit, cinnamon, and nuts.
