The grapes that make up this wine come from old vines planted in schist soil at an average altitude of 350 meters in the region between Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Barca d'Alva, in the Douro Superior. With exposure to the Northeast, we were able to obtain full-bodied red wines with an elegant profile. Hand picking vintage. Fermentation made by grape varieties to improve the rigor in the selection of the final blend that gives rise to this wine. Fermentation takes place in small-capacity stainless steel vats, with a controlled temperature of around 28ºC. Controlled maceration in order to obtain an aromatic and elegant wine. Aging for 12 months in French oak barrels. Balance between the intense flavor of red fruits and the elegance that comes from aging in French oak barrels for 12 months. Contains sulfites.

The grapes are picked by hand prior to destemming and there is an automated selection process. These are gently crushed before being transferred to the fermentation in the vats where they are inoculated with a specially selected yeast culture and fermented at 25 ° C. During fermentation, the wines are gently macerated with the ability to mature in the bottle. Post Scriptum DOC features a deep ruby color, appealing ripe plum scents. Bulky and well structured body. Very elegant tannins, presenting a very fresh and long-lasting finish. It is ready to drink but reveals a high potential for aging. Contains Sulfites.
Portal Vintage 2016 Ruby
Manual harvesting transported in small boxes. Laceration in stainless steel mill and vat at an approximate temperature of 28-30ºC. Stage of 1 year in hull, with filling in the second year. The great majority of the grapes come from the Pinhão River Valley where the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz are able to withstand the heat that has occurred in the summer. These grapes have been added to other Douro valleys, which translates into a classic blend of the region. The fermentation took place in a mix of closed vats to guarantee the freshness and aromatic component, mill to guarantee greater complexity and structure. After a slow aging and care in our cellars in the Douro, this Vintage now has an intense and mature fruity, in addition to a floral that conveys excellent freshness. It shows a strong concentration and structure in the mouth accompanied always with a rich and aromatic component variability. A classic vintage definitely remembering other decades. This is the second wine from Quinta do Vesuvio, whose name refers to the Pombal Vineyard, characterized by the existence of an old and traditional Douro pombal and where Touriga Nacional grapes are produced, which represent an important component in the final lot of the Pombal Vesúvio. Ponte Mouchão Red
Aged for 18 to 20 months in French oak barrels, and is marketed after aging for at least another 12 months in bottle. Coming from vineyards under 20 years old, the reds are made in open ponds with footsteps (like all reds in Mouchão) and with 100% stems. It presents an intense red - garnet color, concentrated aroma of black fruits and spices, with delicate floral touch, structured and rich palate with fruit, acidity and tannins in perfect balance. Castello D’Alba Grande Reserva Red
Grapes from old vineyards with an average age over 40 years, hand-harvested from Touriga Nacional, Sousão, Touriga franca and Tinta Roriz varieties, aged for 18 months in barrels. Very elegant and fine, with very smooth and very ripe tannins, fresh and aromatic, very elegant and with an unusually long finish. Contains sulfites.
