Discover the Plantation Guyana Vintage 2007, a gem from the Plantation Rum Vintage Collection, meticulously selected by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel. With over 30 years of experience, Alexandre explores the various rum terroirs around the world, seeking the finest barrels from the most prestigious distilleries in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Oceania. This rum is the result of these explorations, offering an exceptional and unique flavor profile. Made from molasses, with a one-week fermentation and distilled using a blend of Port Mourant pot still and column still, the rum was distilled in 2007. It aged for 13 years in 200L bourbon barrels in the tropics, followed by 2 years in 350L Ferrand casks in Europe, gaining deep and rich complexity. On the nose, it is intense and rich, with pastry notes of cocoa and almond, vanilla, and lime peel. The palate is rich and oily, following the nose with hints of flowers and orange, tobacco, raisins, berries, almond, and hazelnut, complemented by deep notes of balsamic and molasses, almost smoky, with leather and medicinal ginseng. The finish is very long, spicy, and fresh, with pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, licorice, and chocolate.

Clear and bright with dark mahogany highlights. The nose is marked by intense aromas against a warm background. Notes of roasted coffee and chocolate on a woody base, on a background of fruity notes, spices of dried fruits and nutmeg. Broad and rich flavor on the palate. Stone fruits come with strong, rounded notes of roasted coffee.

Rum Zacapa features a dark mahogany color with a nose full of apricots, citrus fruits, cacao, vanilla and bourbon; dense, with wonderful complexities of aroma and flavor. Great intensity on the nose, with sweet notes of wood. Sweet fruity flavor, vanilla, almonds, chocolate, toasted wood and delicate spice suggestions. Dense and exceptionally balanced, with a very long flavor. Attractive and suggestive ending; elegant and noble.
