Quinta de Ventozelo Reserva Red – The elegance of Douro
Quinta de Ventozelo Reserva Red is a DOC Douro wine that reflects the authenticity of this unique region. Produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Alicante Bouschet, from 20-year-old vineyards, it expresses the true character of S. João da Pesqueira terroir.
Hand-harvested in September, the grapes undergo total destemming and rigorous selection, first manually and then berry by berry using optical sorting. Fermentation takes place in lagares with pre-fermentative maceration and temperature control. The wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels, adding structure, depth, and elegance.
