Quinta da Carolina Reserva Especial 2011 Red
The grapes were harvested in 25kg plastic boxes, hand-picked from berry to berry, destemmed and trampled on foot in traditional presses, fermented in presses for a week at a temperature of 26ºC. Malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak casks, where the wine aged for 18 months. Dark ruby color. Fresh notes of black fruits on the nose without over-ripening, all well matched and balanced with new wood, good volume in the mouth with a refreshing acidity to balance the concentration of the wine, the tannins are present but ripe. Long and elegant finish with notes of vanilla and fruit. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Essência Red
Manual harvest, starting at the end of September, with careful selection of grapes. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes underwent a double selection: manual and using an optical sorting machine, which selects berry by berry according to their size and shape. After an initial cold maceration, fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature followed. 18 months in 500 liter French oak barrels (50% new and 50% used). This wine has a deep ruby color. Aromatic complex, with a predominance of black and ripe red fruit aromas, involved with a smoky touch, as a result of the long aging in barrels. In the mouth it is vibrant, with fruit and tannins. It finishes in a persistent and slightly spicy tasting, revealing great aging potential. Contains sulfites.
Quinta dos Murças Reserva Magnum Red
Quinta dos Murças Reserva, from the Douro region, has a deep color with violet hints. Firm and concentrated palate, with balanced acidity, has mature tannins well involved in your body and volume. It has a long and persistent finish, which, as a whole, allows to predict a great longevity. Manual harvesting, sorting table, destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25ºC to 28ºC) in granite mills, using footsteps, and pressing in an old vertical press. In French and American oak barrels used for 12 months. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta Vale Dona Maria Red
Elegant and fresh, deep deep violet, deep red and purple, with enormous concentration of aroma of ripe red fruits, black cherry and plum, and a soft fruity touch. The aging in French oak barrels concentrates the original well-ripened tannins and softens its power, producing a very balanced, intense and velvety wine, with the characteristic subtlety and elegance of the wines to Quinta Vale D. Maria, ending long and fruity. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta do Fojo Red 2016
Quinta do Fojo, located on the picturesque left bank of the Pinhão Valley, is the birthplace of the exceptional Quinta do Fojo Red 2016. This wine is produced exclusively from the property's vineyards, which extend over 4 hectares planted in 1986, with a mix of grape varieties where Tinta Roriz predominates.
The Mediterranean climate, combined with the schist soil and the altitude between 250m and 370m, provides the ideal conditions for the production of superior quality wine.
