Quinta dos Cardeais Grande Reserva Red is the result of meticulous winemaking, which begins with careful stemming followed by light crushing. Pre-fermentation maceration lasts 48 hours before spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures, ending with post-fermentation maceration lasting 10 to 15 days. This approach ensures the ideal extraction of aromas and flavors, resulting in a wine of exceptional quality.Made from a distinct blend of Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, Grande Reserva Red displays a remarkable aromatic complexity, with nuances of ripe red fruit, blueberry compote, dried vegetables, caramel, honey cake, dates and a touch of spices. On the palate, it stands out for the robustness of its tannins, well-structured body, fine fruit and striking acidity, giving it a serious and gastronomic presence, perfectly aligned with its elegant and sophisticated nature.
Tapada de Coelheiros Red
The grapes were harvested manually and transported to the cellar where they were destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at 26–27°C. After finishing, we kept the wine in post-fermentation maceration for 5 days. The malolactic fermentation occurred naturally in a stainless steel tank and then it was transferred to barrels where it remained for 18 months. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and 36 months in bottle. Powerful nose with notes of black fruit wrapped in spices and tobacco. In the mouth, the intensity of the freshness of Cabernet Sauvignon stands out, followed by the creamy texture of Alicante Bouschet, which leads us to an elegant and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
A Trincadeira Não é Tão Preta Red
Selective manual harvest in 40 kg baskets, selection on a selection table, entry into the vat by gravity without the use of pumps. Minimum intervention winemaking. It aged for 9 months in stainless steel vats without contact with barrel and 3 months in bottle. It presents a fragile garnet-ruby color, nose with notes of wet forest, mushroom and spicy, with very soft herbal touches. In the mouth it is very fresh, very structured and of medium texture. Contains sulfites.
Maria Mora Enamorada Red
The harvest took place in the second week of September. The grapes were harvested manually for small boxes of 18kg according to a careful selection of the best grapes in the vineyard. The grapes were completely destemmed for small stainless steel tanks, where they were macereted 24 yours at low temperature, before beginning the alcoholic fermentation, with yeasts selected at controlled temperature. The alcoholic fermentation lasted about 15 days, with gentle remonstrances of a good extraction of color and aromas. After fermentation, it was transferred to French oak barrels where it remained for 7 months until bottling. Aromas of black fruits, notes of spices and menthol. In the mouth it is dense, with firm tannins, a very balanced acidity and an intense and spicy finish. Contains Sulfites.
Adega de Borba Garrafeira Red
The grapes were crushed gently with total destemming, which was followed by the alcoholic fermentation process in a stainless steel mill, with moderate mechanical treading, ending in maceration for 10 days, under temperature control at 24ºC. The wine aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. After light filtration, bottling took place and a final stage in a 30-month cellar in the bottle. Deep garnet color, good aromatic intensity to very ripe black fruits, cocoa and toasted nuts. A soft flavor with silky tannins of raisin fruit and wild berry, full-bodied but with a long-lasting freshness. Contains sulfites.
