The Soalheiro Mineral Rose can be enjoyed as an excellent and relaxed aperitif, very adapted to the current tendency to consume wine by the glass, but also proves perfect to harmonize with lighter dishes such as salads, fish or seafood. One of the great concerns of the Soalheiro is to produce "wines to drink with pleasure", believing in the quality and tendency to appreciate wines with a more moderate alcohol. This Soalheiro Mineral Rose manages to have persistence due to Pinot Noir and elegance due to Alvarinho with moderate alcohol of 12%. To Alvarinho produced in high altitude vineyards where the caste has a more intense, fresh and mineral dimension, the Soalheiro has joined the Pinot Noir variety, also produced in the region and which presents a more aromatic and elegant dimension. In this way, a wine emerges at the same time aromatic and fresh, with a mineral end of mouth, and at the same time very greedy. Contains Sulfites.

Man has dreams. My dream 23 years ago was to create a wine that would reveal the wines before phylloxera arrived in Europe. Thus was born the name Pé Franco by what is known. I planted 1.2ha of vines of the Baga variety, as was used in pre-phylloxera Europe, directly on sandy soil - a way to avoid attacking the roots of the disease-inducing insect, given its (fortunately) aversion to this type of soil. After great anxiety, we made the first harvest in 1995, 7 years after planting. In 2010 we celebrated the fifteenth harvest of this boldness. The wine now comes from an area increased to 2.5ha. As each vine produces only one cluster, ie one glass of wine, it takes the annual work of six vines to obtain a bottle. This is due not only to the lower production of the ungrafted vine, but also due to the successive weeding that we carry out with a view to obtaining a very full wine, that can thus hide the tannins of the grape variety and the acidity characteristic of the region's climate. These are key factors to give you an aging capacity that goes beyond twenty years, making it an excellent wine to celebrate the age, marriage or other relevant event for the son or daughter, with a wine of the year of his birth . Fermentation in stainless steel vats, with controlled temperature and without malolactic fermentation. Very lively and intense on the nose, with red fruit, great freshness and length, with volume and good structure. Contains sulfites.

Grapes are harvested by hand. After pressing, before fermentation, the must is clarified. Fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank at a low temperature and in two egg-shaped deposits in our innovation area, one stainless steel and the other cement, so that the final batch, due to the constant battonage in the fine lees, transmits complexity and taste persistence superior to what we normally find in this variety. Bright lemon yellow color, elegant aroma marked by mineral and floral notes. Dry and fresh flavor, revealing the elegant side of the Loureiro variety, which always has a persistence of well-marked acidity. Contains sulfites.
