Encruzado grapes harvested separately from Touriga Nacional – the entire process was carried out individually. The final blend determines the percentage of each grape variety – 15% Encruzado and 85% Touriga Nacional. Manual harvest. Desengace total. Prolonged maceration in a stainless steel tank. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts under controlled temperature for 20 days. Foot treading. Decantation into new 225L French oak barrels for 12 months. After aging, blending took place. Light red color with brownish nuances, almost terracotta. It has a fresh mineral aroma, with a slight reduction, spices and eucalyptus. With medium concentration, this is a mysterious and complex wine. After a while, the wine breathes and surprises with the presence of fresh and vibrant fruit, a nose that changes with each moment. Very delicate in the mouth with incredible lightness. Touch of spices at the end, more structured and persistent. Contains sulfites.
