The Quinta Nova Reserva Terroir Red is a pure and sophisticated expression of the Cima Corgo, reflecting the transparency of the Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo terroir. Sourced from vineyards planted in schist soils across the rugged Douro terraces, this wine results from a balanced composition of the estate’s noble grape varieties by the Amorim Family.
The production involves manual harvesting and a careful vinification process with 100% destemming. The 9-month aging period is split between second-use French oak barrels (77%) and cement tanks (23%), a combination that ensures harmony between the wood structure and the vibrant freshness of the cement.
