Quinta Dona Sancha Vinha Ancestral Red is a tribute to the tradition and wisdom of the old vineyards of Silgueiros, in the heart of the Dão. Sourced from vines over 50 years old, this wine embodies the authenticity of the granitic terroir and the legacy of Quinta Dona Sancha, where time is the truest ally of perfection.

Planted at 330 meters altitude and facing east, these old vines yield a limited and concentrated production, resulting in a wine of remarkable elegance, freshness, and depth. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperatures between 22 and 24 °C for 17 days. The wine then ages for 12 months in French oak vats and five years in bottle, achieving balance, harmony, and exceptional longevity.
