These vineyards are located in the sub-region of Silgueiros at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters. The vine is grown within an integrated protection program, the use of herbicides is prohibited. Infestation control is achieved through soil movement. The grape harvest is hand made, caste by caste, when the ideal point of maturation is reached, usually around the second half of September. The harvest is collected in small boxes of 10 kg. These wines are obtained after fermentation at a controlled temperature in order to preserve their aromatic elegance in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine is produced by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and has a subsequent maturation period of 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity. Quinta de Lemos Alfrocheiro presents a floral aroma of jasmine and chamomile, very delicate red fruits. Very elegant, soft and velvety, full of flavor, smooth and silky to the end. Contains Sulfites.
