Segredo 6 Old Vineyards Magnum Red
The best kept secret of Francisco Costa, better known in the football world as 'Costinha', and António Boal, from Costa Boal Family Estates, a red from old Trás-os-Montes vineyards and named 'Segredo 6'. A 3.5 hectare plot in Mirandela, Trás-os-Montes. This was a wine that aged in new French oak barrels (500 liters) for 16 months, and another year in the bottle. But it still has "great potential" for aging. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Vallado Sousão Red
Vinified in mills with traditional walking foot for 6 days. Malolactic fermentation made in French oak barrels of 225 liters where it remained, after passing to clean, another 18 months. 40% new barrels and 60% barrels of 2nd year. Quinta do Vallado Sousão presents a very concentrated aroma, with balsamic notes of oak wood, black fruits, tobacco and spices. In the mouth it is full-bodied, fleshy with excellent acidity. Mineral finish, fresh and long flavored with black fruits. Contains Sulfites.
Feuerheerd’s Reserva Red
Dark, purple/black full bodied, it has aromas of cherry and grape, a pleasant touch of tobacco and spices. In the mouth it is a real charm, with a lot of ripe black fruit at the front, but there is a fine and sophisticated base of spices and a polished graphite character, soft and chocolatey tannins, and cherry acidity. Contains sulfites.
