Quinta da Boavista Vinha do Ujo Magnum Red

Located near Pinhão on the right bank of the Douro and with a spectacular view of the river, Quinta da Boavista is one of the most iconic properties in the region, known not only for its historical connection to Baron de Forrester but also for its 40 hectares of high quality vineyards. The Vine of the Ujo was planted in 1930 in pre-phylloxeric horizontal levels and the land is supported by small schist walls. Its more than 25 breeds spread on small terraces exposed to the sunset. The vineyard has an altitude that varies between 180 and 210 meters. Deep red and deep red wine. Impressive aroma that takes us to an orchard of bergamots, fresh wild scents, as well as floral notes and minerals, demonstrating a superb complexity and depth. In the mouth it is unique, impressing by the finesse and the beautiful integration with the wood. Long and persistent. Manual harvesting, destemming and soft smashing of berries. The fermentation of the grapes takes place in new barrels of French wood of 500 liters. After a period of maceration the resulting wine continues its stage for 16 months in barrels of 225 liters also of French oak.

Soalheiro 9% White
An intense, elegant wine with volume. Beginning at the end of August, this harvest was the earliest ever harvested in Soalheiro, but it demonstrated an exceptional balance between the fruit and the acidity of the Alvarinhos of the unique terroir of Monção and Melgaço. Alvarinho grapes without late harvest were harvested in small capacity boxes and transported to the winery in a short period of time. The must obtained by pressing the whole grapes was decanted and fermented at low temperature. The fermentation took place in stainless steel until reaching the balance of sweetness and acidity intended and that dictated the final alcohol of this Soalheiro - 9%. Citrus and tropical notes of the Alvarinho variety with a balance of unusual acidity and sweetness.

Soalheiro Mineral Magnum Rose
The Soalheiro Mineral Rose can be enjoyed as an excellent and relaxed aperitif, very adapted to the current tendency to consume wine by the glass, but also proves perfect to harmonize with lighter dishes such as salads, fish or seafood. One of the great concerns of the Soalheiro is to produce "wines to drink with pleasure", believing in the quality and tendency to appreciate wines with a more moderate alcohol. This Soalheiro Mineral Rose manages to have persistence due to Pinot Noir and elegance due to Alvarinho with moderate alcohol of 12%. To Alvarinho produced in high altitude vineyards where the caste has a more intense, fresh and mineral dimension, the Soalheiro has joined the Pinot Noir variety, also produced in the region and which presents a more aromatic and elegant dimension. Soalheiro Germinar Loureiro Vinhas Velhas White
Grapes are harvested by hand. After pressing, before fermentation, the must is clarified. Fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank at a low temperature and in two egg-shaped deposits in our innovation area, one stainless steel and the other cement, so that the final batch, due to the constant battonage in the fine lees, transmits complexity and taste persistence superior to what we normally find in this variety. Bright lemon yellow color, elegant aroma marked by mineral and floral notes. Dry and fresh flavor, revealing the elegant side of the Loureiro variety, which always has a persistence of well-marked acidity. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Ameal Loureiro White
Harvest made exclusively in boxes of 20kg with two passages, the 1st passage is to eliminate clusters with sanitary problems and with poor maturation. Pressing of whole grapes in pneumatic press (low pressure) and fermentation at low temperature 10-15ºC for 12 to 15 days. Maturation of 3 to 6 months in stainless steel vat at controlled temperature. Clear and clear citrus color. Well balanced and fruity floral and fruit aromas, typical of the very mature grapes of the Loureiro variety. Contains Sulfites.
