Quinta da Boa Esperança Reserva Red is a wine of great character, produced in the Lisboa region, blending 50% Syrah, 45% Touriga Nacional, and 5% Alicante Bouschet. Grown in limestone clay soils, it offers structure, freshness, and aromatic complexity.
The winemaking process includes full destemming and pre-fermentative maceration at 8ºC, ensuring the extraction of refined aromas and tannins. Fermentation occurs in lagares at a controlled temperature of 24ºC, allowing each grape variety to express its unique profile. Extended aging refines its structure, with 90% of the batch maturing for 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by 18 months of bottle aging, delivering balance and sophistication.
