Description

Pequeno Dilema White – Freshness and elegance from the Douro

Pequeno Dilema White is living proof of the Douro’s ability to craft exceptional white wines. Produced from high-altitude vineyards owned by the Symington family in Tapadinha (580 m, Rio Torto Valley) and Chões (520 m, Pinhão Valley), the cooler conditions ensure balanced ripening and remarkable freshness.

Made from Arinto (35%), Viosinho (20%), Códega do Larinho (20%), Rabigato (20%) and Alvarinho (5%), the grapes undergo gentle destemming and fermentation that starts in vats and finishes in new and used barrels. Part of the grapes benefit from pre-fermentative skin contact to enhance aromatic expression.

Aged for 10 months in 500L French and Hungarian oak barrels on fine lees, this wine develops structure, creamy texture, and excellent ageing potential.
