Fermentation of part of the hand-harvested grapes takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using the “pumping over” technique. The other part is foot-trodden in temperature-controlled granite lagares over a period of 10 days. The wine ages for 16 months in French oak barrels. Passadouro DOC Tinto has a wonderful aroma of plum and blackberry, with notes of fresh flowers. Remarkable balance between freshness and complexity. A very pleasant finish. Contains sulfites.
