Fully produced with the Merlot grape variety, in clay-limestone soils, the climatic conditions of the Serra da Arrábida area allow the grapes of this variety to be obtained with a strong local personality. A classic, slow and controlled fermentation was carried out followed by an end of fermentation in new barrels of French "Allier" oak that contributed to the excellent integration of the aromas and flavors of the grape and the wood. The subsequent prolonged maturation in the same barrels guaranteed a complexity of complementary palate.
