Description

Herdade do Peso Trinca Bolotas Reserva Red

The Herdade do Peso Trinca Bolotas Reserva Red originates from the unique landscape of Alentejo, where the cork oak forests and the Alentejo pig define the identity of the terroir. This wine is a tribute to the region’s biodiversity, combining winemaking tradition with the preservation of the Mediterranean forest under sustainable viticulture practices.

The production focuses on the excellence of the Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, and Aragonez grape varieties. After a four-day pre-fermentative maceration to enhance aromatic complexity, the wine fermented with gentle pump-overs. The maturation process took place over 12 months in new and used American oak barrels, providing structure and elegance.
