The Grande Vadio Red is a profound and authentic expression of the Bairrada terroir, sourced from vineyards planted in clay-limestone soils. This wine reflects the philosophy of Vadio Wines, focused on valuing traditional grape varieties and production methods that respect the region’s identity.
The winemaking is marked by the use of indigenous yeasts and a minimal intervention process. After fermentation, the wine aged for twelve months in used 500-liter French oak barrels, followed by an extended rest of at least 48 months in the bottle, which grants it unique complexity and elegance.
