Ferro da Ferradosa Red
Ferro da Ferradosa Red is an authentic expression of the unique terroir of Quinta da Ferradosa, in the heart of the Douro. Coming from a vineyard planted in 1998, this wine reflects a viticultural year marked by large temperature fluctuations and balanced ripening, resulting in high-quality musts with excellent phenolic freshness.
The production follows traditional methods, with all grapes being foot-trodden in traditional granite lagars. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels, providing structure without overshadowing the purity of the fruit.
