Dandy de Cidrô White
Dandy de Cidrô White stems from a simple and captivating concept: to create a fresh, light, and uncomplicated Douro wine, embodying the character of a true Dandy. Sourced from Quinta de Cidrô at an altitude of 600 meters in schist soils, this wine stands out for its use of the Samarrinho grape, a rare variety that Real Companhia Velha helped rescue from extinction, giving it a unique and original identity.
The production focuses on preserving aromatic purity, with grapes handpicked and transported in 150kg crates. After rigorous sorting, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks under temperature control, followed by a 6-month ageing period in the same tanks to ensure maximum liveliness and fruit freshness.
