The Chryseia 2012 was produced from a careful selection of grapes from the Prats & Symington vineyards, located at Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz. Quinta da Vila Velha, owned by a member of the Symington family and neighbouring Roriz, also contributed, as has been the case in all previous vintages of Chryseia. Appealing aromas of forest berries with vegetal notes. Luxurious palate, with superb fruit purity and attractive minerality with a hint of schist. Impeccable oak integration. A very well-balanced wine with intense, spicy tannins. A wine of great precision, generous and powerful, yet simultaneously very elegant. Contains sulphites.
