Casa Relvas Chardonnay White
Casa Relvas Chardonnay is a vibrant expression of the Alentejo terroir, grown in schist soils that lend a unique identity to this international grape variety. Produced by the prestigious Casa Relvas in São Miguel de Machede, Évora, this wine benefits from a growing year of slow maturation, resulting in exceptional aromatic purity and a remarkable balance between freshness and structure.
The winemaking process involves careful manual harvesting, followed by pre-fermentative maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. To enhance its complexity, the wine ages for 4 months in French oak barrels, acquiring a silky texture and subtle woody notes that respect the original fruit.
