The Adega de Borba Senses Petit Verdot is a contemporary expression of the Alentejo terroir, originating from clay-limestone and schist soils. Produced from one of the most recent grape varieties in the region, this wine reflects the rigorous maturation control and Adega de Borba’s dedication to creating exceptional wines with a strong identity.
The production involves a careful manual harvest, followed by fermentation with complete maceration in stainless steel lagares under controlled temperatures. To enhance its complexity and ensure a balanced structure, the wine aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels, developing a unique elegance.
