Château Beauchêne Vignobles de la Serrière White
22,13 €
Direct press for Roussanne’s bunches in which a short film maceration is first made. Fermentation at low temperatures and aging in lees for at least 3 months in stainless steel tanks. The Château Beauchêne also elaborates this typical and subtle white Châteauneuf. It features expressive aromas of acacia flowers, toasted almonds and apricot. An especially long and fresh finish complements the tasting and brings more complexity. In short, a very nice bottle for lovers of the white wines of the Rhône. Contains Sulfites.

Manual harvest at the optimal point of maturation, with accurate selection of bunches. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. After the end of the process, the wine is transferred to large French oak vats for maturation. Aging for 3 months in bottle before going on sale.Garnet color with tiled hints, indicating evolution, but we also know that the color of Sangiovese evolves very quickly. Aroma with complexity from the aging in barrel and bottle, showing however that the wine is still very young and has several years of life ahead of it. Ripe cherry, autumn forest, some leather, dried thyme. Solid and confident in the mouth, with good body, very accurate acidity, lively tannins, but not harsh. Sensation of something spicy and salty rather than sweet, what the English call “savoury”. Long aftertaste, an excellent partner at the table. Contains sulfites.

Louis Latour Chablis Premier Cru White

Chablis is an isolated island of vineyards in the northern section of Burgundy, wine-growing halfway between Dijon and Paris. Despite its huge acreage and production, the Chablis area now produces less than 5% of what it did a hundred years ago. Lower yields and better winemaking practices have made this wine a perennial favorite. Maison Louis Latour selects sections of vineyards within the denominations Premier Cru, so that fruit quality is guaranteed year after year. Traditional fermentation in stainless steel vats, controlled temperature with complete malolactic fermentation. Aging for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel vats. Rich and complex aromas of fresh fruits, white flowers and dried fruits with a mineral note. Powerful and long lasting on the palate. Contains Sulfites.
